A digital painting study of a photograph by Mustafa Hassouna of then-20 yr old Aed Abu Amro taken in Oct of 2018 during the Great March of Return protest. This photo went viral and became a symbol of Palestinian resistance against occupation. Amro was targeted and shot by Israeli snipers a month later at a different protest, causing severe damage to his leg. AFAIK, he survived that shooting and was still alive as of an article I found that had interviewed him post-shooting, but I am unsure of his status today (because this was all in 2018).
