This was the concept sketch that I made for this project!

The creature itself was inspired by three existing creatures: the deep sea angler, goldfish, and a bumblebee.

An in-progress shot of the sculpture! I used a wire frame base, gave it body with aluminum foil, and then lastly, covered it with sculpey. After baking it, i painted it with acrylic paint, finishing details with hot glue for shine.
